lover's paradise above and below the water. Few other islands can
boast such diverse and abundant wildlife- Thanks to the fact that
Tobago was once part of South America. This tiny island has hundreds
of species of birds, flowers and wildlife. It also has the oldest
protected rainforest in the Western Hemisphere, healthy coral reefs
for superb and varied scuba diving, undeveloped and unspoiled
beaches, and some of the world's largest brain coral.
So once again, it's time to get your cameras ready, sharpen your
pencils, grab your safety sausage and hiking boots and join Sport
Diver's award winning editor , Ty Sawyer along with Emmy Award
winning photographer and underwater videographer Michael Pitts (BBC,
Blue Planet, Private Life of plants)

as we explore and capture the untamed and ever surprising animal and
plant life that makes this untamed island paradise one of a kind.
We will be inviting only 20 lucky readers (first come first served)
to join our posse for an action packed week of photo, video and
journalistic adventure. You will dive and explore, side by side with
the pros, while learning new techniques and skills that may land
your story and photographs on the Pages of Sport Diver magazine and
Sportdiver.com, not
to mention the chance to win some great prizes!
Join us as we search for everything from huge Mantas (as it is
mating season), hammerheads and hummingbirds. Also expect to
discover a huge variety of macro critters while exploring the island
North to South, topside and under. This is a trip not to be missed
and one that will have you venturing back again and again after
discovering this magical island.

Depart Trinidad 10:30 PM Tobago arrival -11:00 PM

Introductions Dive briefings
One Tank Dive approx 9:30 am, Tobago Dive Experience (TDE)

June 6th

All Day Island Tour from North to South and Back
Lunch at local Restaurant on South Side, Explore and photograph
Historical sites, Rainforest Hike and short hike to Argyle Falls for
a Refreshing dip.
Transfer Back to Manta Lodge for Authentic "India Night", featuring
home made Indian specialties and music.
June 7th
Breakfast at Manta Lodge
Transfer to Aqua Marine for two tank dive
Transfer back to Manta Lodge for light lunch
1 tank afternoon Dive and 1 tank night dive TDE (optional) Dinner at
Manta Lodge.
June 8th
Breakfast at Manta Lodge, transfer to Charlottesville
2 Tank Dive at "Sisters" (Weather permitting)
Special authentic Fish Broth lunch & Lime at Aqua Marine Dive.
Transfer Back to Manta lodge

Early Transfer to Airport for 6:40 am flight to Trinidad
Arrive POS at 7:05 am Depart POS 8:30 am – arrive Miami 12:30 PM
Package Price:
$2,769.00 per person based upon double occupancy
$2,979.00 single occupancy
Package includes:
Round trip airfare from Miami to Tobago, 8 night’s accommodations,
all meals, all diving and tours as outlined in the itinerary, all
beverages, including alcohol during hosted parties/events, taxes and
service charges
Not included: Dive equipment (tanks, weights and belt
included), Nitrox, beverages and food not included in the itinerary,
items of a personal nature, departure taxes, airfare to Miami and
gratuities.
You should arrive in Miami no later 1:00pm on June 3. On your
return, you should plan to depart Miami no earlier than 3:30 pm on
June 11. Please remember that airlines have schedule changes; so
please insure that you have enough time to make your Tobago
connections in Miami should a schedule change occur.
