Accommodations at
Manta Lodge
Manta Lodge is set on the beach
front and has 18 Superior rooms and 2 Loft rooms.
Superior rooms have ocean views
leading to private porches or balconies, and offer quiet split-unit
air-conditioning. In lieu of using the air conditioning, many guests
prefer to leave their French doors open to the outside world,
enabling the cooling trade winds to breeze through the room.
There is nothing more pleasant
than being lulled to sleep by the rhythmic sounds of the surf and
waking to the symphony of an early morning rain shower followed by
views of the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean.
In place of French doors leading to porches, the two Loft Rooms have
a private exit that leads to their own ocean view roof deck. The
rooms come with a variety of different bedding arrangements, which
enables us to tailor your room to your specific bedding requests.
All rooms have private bathrooms with shower. Linens are provided
including beach towels for use
 at
the pool and on your dives. Toiletries are limited to hand soap, so
please bring your own shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer.
Your room is equipped with a hot water heater and cups for making
tea or instant coffee. Feel free to bring your own coffee packs or
tea, or you may purchase these items at the restaurant. Voltage in
our rooms is 110 volts, with the rectangular
two
pin socket similar to those found in the United States. European
guests should bring
 adapters as they are not readily available on
the island.
We encourage "in person" interaction at our Lodge, so you will find
that the rooms do not have televisions or telephones.
We hope our guests will use this vacation as an opportunity to take
a holiday away from all that connectivity, however wireless access
is available for a small daily or weekly fee throughout the common
areas of the Lodge. There is also a desktop available in the bar
area should you not wish to bring your lap top along!
