Tobago has won
several prestigious eco awards including the World Travel Awards
"Best Eco Destination in the World" and the Caribbean Travel Awards
Committee "#1 Eco-Destination in the Caribbean." Such recognition is
not surprising as you will be hard pressed to find another
destination of its size with such diverse floral and fauna. In fact
the Island has a reported 6000 species of plants and animals,
including one of the highest densities of bird species in the world
in a mere 116 square miles of land.
Listed below are several tour options that can be arranged for you
by Manta Lodge. Although these tours represent "set itineraries,"
Manta Lodge's tour partners are more than willing to customize
additional tours to suit the interest of each participant.
We would also suggest that at some point during your stay, you
consider renting a car for a day or two to further explore this
amazing island on your own. The Front Office Staff at Manta will be
happy to assist you with the car rental and touring tips at any
point during your stay.
