DINING


 


Fine dining is an important part of Manta Lodge with breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. 

Meal plans are available and can be tailored to meet you needs. Some of the exciting local foods you may see on the menu include adventurous items such as:

 


Buljol and fried or roast bake: Salted fish combined with various seasonings served in heavy bread.

Pigeon peas soup: rich soup made with local peas full of vegetables and dumplings.

Choka and Sada Roti: Fried tomatoes or eggplant highly seasoned and served with a soft thin bread.

Pelau: A combination of rice, vegetables and one or more types of meat cooked in a rich coconut milk.

 

Our foods are spicy and we love "Hot Sauce"!  Not feeling so adventurous?  Not to wory! Chef Joe will easily tempt your taste buds with the sauces and herbs used in his fine international cuisine.

In addition to sharing our local food, we also enjoy sharing our local music by inviting in one of the many talented Steel drum bands to play for our guests.

Breakfast $13.00 pp daily
Dinner $35.00 pp daily
Meal Plans are inclusive a 10% Service Charge plus 15% VAT.

A small convenience (bring your TT dollars!) and several other restaurants are within walking distance including:

Jemma's Seaview Kitchen (Locale/Creole)
Speyside Inn Restaurant
 
Lobster Pot Restaurant (International) Dining here requires a lift unless you are extremely motivated!
