Tobago Dive Experience is housed within the grounds of Manta Lodge, within a five minute truck ride to our dive departure area at the Speyside Jetty.  Please visit the Tobago Dive Experience web site for detailed information on all Tobago and Manta Lodge have to offer our divers and dive students!

At Manta Lodge, we have an air conditioned shop, which is filled with Mares and Scubapro equipment for retail, as we are dealers in all these manufacturers and more.  A complete range of well maintained dive equipment is available for rental as well, including wet suits, BCD's, fins, masks, snorkels, computers, etc.  In fact everything you need to go diving and have fun! 

 


Dive Safety Gear Considerations: Diving in Tobago often involves drift diving, so to ensure your safe return from your dive, Tobago Dive Experience requires all divers to wear a safety sausage. Sausages are available for rent at the dive shop for those who do not have their own.

The shop is also fitted with DVD player and TV for training purposes. 

We have access to Manta Lodge's swimming pool where all of our pool work is completed. PADI, NAUI and BSAC Courses are taught by our on-site dive professionals.

Our onsite compressor provides us will all the tank fills we need, in both 80 cubic and 63 cubic foot tanks. (Please be sure to ask for small tanks in advance!)

Our dive schedule in Speyside is 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:00pm every day of the year, plus night dives when requested at 6:30pm.  We recommend our clients to arrive about 30 minutes before departure to allow for paperwork and equipment preparation.  Once we reach Speyside jetty to meet the boat, the dive equipment is loaded aboard, on one of our specially designed dive boats, for the short journey to the dive site. 

There are some 30 dives in the Speyside area alone, ranging from Drift Dives, Wreck Dives and pelagic orientated dives, just about everything you may be looking for.  The boat returns between each of the dives, to give you a chance to take a break, get a drink or light snack, before the optional second and third dives of the day.
